Wire Ring Roller V5 (2026 Professional – Single action thumbwheel height adjust)

The Wire Ring Roller forms straight wire into precise-diameter rings and corrects out-of-round wire stock. Feed wire through the three-point roller geometry, adjust until the output matches the target diameter, and roll.

How it works

Three rollers define the geometry: one central driving roller and two U-groove side rollers. The wire passes between them, bending around the driving roller and guided symmetrically by the two side rollers.

Two independent adjustments control the output:

• Driving roller height — sets how much the wire is deflected, directly controlling the resulting ring diameter and the pressure applied to the wire. Adjusted via single-action thumbwheel.
• Side roller spacing — adjusts the two U-groove rollers symmetrically toward or away from center via a single shared screw, controlling lateral constraint and consistency.

What’s new in V5

Previous versions required loosening four screws, adjusting a fifth, then retightening — every time the driving roller height needed changing. V5 replaces that with a single thumbwheel action. The side roller adjustment mechanism is unchanged from V3.

An additional improvement in V5: the driving roller can be raised high enough to accommodate wire up to 6mm even when the side rollers are at their closest position — a limitation of earlier versions.

Bench scale, not industrial scale

Built from 3D-printed PETG with metal hardware and bearings where it counts. Usable handheld or bench-mounted. Under normal use the construction is solid; flex becomes a factor only with wire well outside the specified range.
