When I unwrapped my box and opened up the contents, I looked at the wire straightener. It was amazingly small and I even tried it a couple of times worked like a charm. WORTH EVERY PENNY – This Wire Straightener is exactly what I needed! I make jewelry and all of my sterling and gold wire comes coiled, which is super time consuming to correct. A couple passes with this and my wire is super straight! Quality is great. Buyer was super responsive and shipped immediately after I ordered. **Note, first time took some getting use to it… I found adjusting the gap on the sides to be slightly smaller than the gauge of wire being used is the sweet spot – see pic. Should not pinch the wire so tight that is hard to pull through**
I’m probably the only one who doesn’t give 5 stars. But criticism is the best way to grow – the idea and technology behind this product is sensational. But the implementation is a little more difficult. I wrote to the seller and he also gave me helpful tips that improved the process of straightening the wire. It’s definitely super helpful, my crafts save me many painful hours. However, it is advisable for future sellers to include a small instruction manual in the package; this would have helped me a lot in understanding the basics of the technology. This prevents the negative experience from occurring in the first place and if these instructions don’t help, you can still contact the seller.
